Pastor Gwala and Nosipho have left the SABC, which Uzalo and the SABC have confirmed.
Nompilo Maphumulo is a South African actress who is well-known in the media for being a public figure. She is well-known for her role as Nosipho on the show Uzalo. She has also played Zodwa on Durban Gen, but only in the first season.
On Uzalo, she was the daughter of Muzi Xulu and Mangcobo, two dangerous criminals. In the show, her father died, and as the years went by, her mother eventually left her to live on her own. There were rumors, and they turned out to be true. Nompilo has left the SABC 1 show Uzalo.
Confirming the exit of Nompilo Maphumulo, a statement released said “SABC 1 and Uzalo would like to officiallt announce that our key characters, Nosipho and Pastor Gwala will exit the popular soapie at the beginning of season 9, which will debut early next year”.
“Nompilo has been an integral part of Uzalo since season 1. She has brought us a memorable rendition of Nosipho that the fans will never forget” Uzalo Producer, King David Mukwevho added.
She later confirmed her exit on her Instagram timeline that she had dumped the show and said the reports were true: “I’ve made the decision to leave the show with immediate effect; everything said in this article is 100% true and I have nothing further to add or dispute.”
