Costa Titch tragically died on Saturday 11 March at the Ultra Music Festival in Johannesburg, Gauteng, at the Expo Centre. At the time of his death, the musician was only 27 years old.
According to the Weekend Argus, the cause of death has yet to be determined, but there is speculation that the musician died as a result of a seizure triggered by the flashing lights. The musician was known to have suffered from epilepsy – A condition that affects the brain and causes seizures.
A LOOK AT THE STAR’S CAREER
According to Briefly, Costa Titch began his career in the music industry at the age of 15, along with his best friend Benny Chill. He is originally from Mpumalanga but moved to Johannesburg in 2014 to pursue a career in as a dancer. He then joined New Age Steez crew dance crew with Tumi Tladi and Phantom Steeze.
However, his rapping skills may have been even better than his dance moves. The musician shot to fame after the release of his song Activate. He released his album Made in Africa in 2020. In 2021, he released a joint album with rapper AKA titled You’re Welcome. This was followed by the album Big Flexa in 2022.
