Nzuzo Njilo, a down-and-out struggling business tycoon, is reportedly on the run after the South African Police Service issued an arrest order for him.
According to City Press, Njilo left his multimillion-rand Hyde Park property in the green suburbs of Johannesburg as a police search was going on.
According to reports, the mansion was sold more than a month ago. Given that the address of the home was his last known address, little is known about his current whereabouts in the wake of these events.
Since last year, Njilo has experienced his fair share of drama, including claims of a falling out with Faith Nketsi and fraud charges.
Police in Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal, issued a warrant of arrest against Njilo and his associate after they scammed and defrauded a well-known businessman in a truck deal.
The warrant of arrest barely comes after a string of fraud allegations were levelled against Njilo recently. Reports have it that he swindled Lund Industries a whopping R1 million after he was contracted to deliver copper concentrate, which he never did.
Rumour mill says the money was used to foot his lavish wedding with celebrated media personality Faith Nketsi. However, the company obtained an eviction order to attach his properties.
Not so long ago, it was reported that they attached some of his movable assets worth R35 000.
On the other hand, there are unproven rumors that Njilo and Nketsi have split up.
Faith Nketsi has often denied the allegations, although there is rumor that she ended their relationship because of Njilo’s financial difficulties and fraud allegations.
