South African social media users are still processing claims that actress and artist Thuli Phongolo had DJ Maphorisa jailed for assault. Maphorisa was arrested during a fight on Sunday, May 7.
On Monday, the former Generations star withdrew the claims, prompting social media users to praise Nota for blasting her.
Hundreds of Twitter users are discussing DJ Maphorisa’s assault allegations.
Maphorisa came in court this morning after his actress girlfriend Thulisile “DJ Thuli P” Phongolo charged him on Sunday, May 7.
On Monday this week after Maphorisa was granted bail and it was reported that the actress decided to drop all charges against him.
Her decision to drop the charges has seemingly left a bad taste in some mouths who now think that she was definitely trying to ruin his reputation.
Many men — including Nota Baloyi — have slammed Thuli for trying to break Maphorisa down. They have also hurled insults at the young media personality in various tweets.
Heading to Twitter, Nota wrote:
“If a Nkabi can kill you for less than $2200 why would it be farfetched for your enemy to pay a yellow-bone Slay Queen to start a fight with you then run to the police with bruises because you defended yourself? If you’re a yellow-bone Slay Queen, how much would you charge for it?
Tweeps are now saying Nota was right about Thuli.
