It’s Much Easier Than The ‘Umlando’! Toss’s Latest Dance Challenge Goes Viral

Pholoso “Toss” Masombuka has a new dance challenge that has gone viral in Mzansi and is spreading beyond our boundaries.

It follows the viral Umlando challenge from the up-and-coming kwaito star’s tune of the same name featuring 9umba and Mdoovar in January. TikTok received over 270 million views, with 112,000 videos made and over 7.5 million streams.

Ncebeleka, a new song by Toss featuring Felo Le Tee, has brought the new challenge to the forefront.

The singer took to his timeline to celebrate the song’s success, with fans from as far away as Japan joining in on the fun.

Toss appears to have mastered the art of inventing viral dance crazes.

After beginning his sporting career in the Kaizer Chiefs youth programme — before “misbehaving” and being suspended — he’s now found a rhythm that has catapulted him to prominence.

Toss earlier told TshisaLIVE that he intended to make the most of his celebrity since he felt he’d been granted a second chance.

“It feels amazing and scary at the same time, but I’m enjoying the moment. I’m trying not to succumb to the pressure. I’m trying to keep it as solid as I can. Sometimes it can get overwhelming because people expect you to be happy all the time, but I’m handling quite well,” he said.
