Minnie Dlamini briefly returned to the public eye after her divorce from Quinton Jones, but the rumour mill is still churning on that subject.

However, during their podcast talk, Dlamini and Fresh cleared up some old rumors about Kaizer Chiefs goalie Itumeleng Khune, whom she dated before marrying Jones. They also talked about her new acting career.

Eight years have passed since Minnie last appeared on screen, but news of her participation in the upcoming local film “The Honeymoon” sparked interest with her fans.

She responded when DJ Fresh questioned her about her role preferences:

“I absolutely love it, in the film (’The Honeymoon’) I play a married woman with two kids … which is complete far-fetched from my life, and now I’m playing someone single, which I am, and looking for love, which I am not, so it’s pretty cool.”

She spoke about marriage and described how she is “finding herself again.”

She emphasised again how unprepared she was for marriage at the age of 26. She also believed that marriage was the next step because she had achieved success so early in her life, despite the fact that she was intellectually immature and had not allowed herself enough time to develop as a person.

She said that “Now I am 32 turning 33 and I’m actually starting to rediscover who Minnie is alone, and it’s a very interesting journey. It’s not lonely, but it is difficult realising in spaces and places I probably shouldn’t have been in.”
