President Cyril Ramaphosa announced this week that Kgosientso “Sputla” Ramokgopa has officially taken up his position as the first Minister of Electricity.
The 48-year-old former Tshwane mayor took on the task of addressing the energy crisis and, hopefully, eliminating load shedding.
And, with his new position, his professional and personal lives have become a hot topic of discussion.
On 25 January 2015, Kgosientso married his baby mama Georgia Shekeshe in a beautiful wedding ceremony. And it was a double celebration for the now Minister of Electricity: his wedding day was also his 40th birthday!
He said of the special day: “The most beautiful woman on earth agreed to be the mother of our children and to be #MrsRamokgopa”.
