Mark Pilgrim has revealed that he is one step closer to leaving ICU. The actor has been in the hospital for a month after being diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. During treatment, both of his lungs accumulated liquid, and he had to have them drained.
Mark is excited to be returning home soon, as evidenced by a photo he posted on Instagram a month after being treated at a Johannesburg hospital’s intensive care unit.
“After 30 days in an ICU bed, I’m skinnier than a toothpick, but I’m out of ICU! Enjoying the calm environment of the general ward, having my own quiet space and my own loo. One step closer to being home.
