Makhadzi receives criticism for collaborating with DJ Maphorisa while battling Open Mic Productions.
The singer cried out out on Twitter a few days ago after the music company automatically renewed her contract, which she had already disclosed had expired.
People expressed sympathy as she recounted her struggles while with the label.
While Makhadzi tried to forge a fresh route for herself, she took to Twitter on Friday to discuss her upcoming collaboration with Maphorisa.
However, the news didn’t sit well with many, rather it let hell loose as many claimed Phori and Open Mic are in the same category when it comes to exploiting artists.
A few others dragged the Ma Gear hitmaker for working with the DJ who just left jail for assaulting his girlfriend.
