Mafikizolo’s Nhlanhla Mafu and Theo Kgosinkwe express their thanks after receiving the Metro FM Lifetime Achievement Award.
Last weekend, the duo played their hit songs and were honored with a special award at the Metro FM Music Awards 2023.
Mafu and Theo turned to their personal Instagram accounts to congratulate the organizers.\
“Stay humble & God will lift you up. 26yrs of Mafikizolo, it is by his grace that we were honored with The Ester Mahlangu lifetime achievement award. Thank you all who played a role in our musical journey,” Theo wrote.
Nhlanhla wrote: “We serve a Mighty and Faithful God, thank you, Father. To be honored, appreciated, and loved while we are still alive and still doing what we love is the greatest honor, thank you Metro FM. Thank you @oskidoibelieve and the rest of the @kalawajazmeer for believing in us, without you there never would have been a Mafikizolo. Thank you to my Mafikizolo family @theo_kgosinkwe, my heavenly brother Tebogo Tebza Madingwane, and @modisekgomo @castroafrikah for being a great family. Thank you to my parents, my son, my love Mr. M and all my family and friends for your unwavering support.
