Bonang Matheba has hinted at a political career after President Cyril Ramaphosa signed the modified Electoral Amendment Bill of 2022.
The amendment allows independent candidates to run in elections to the National Assembly and provincial legislatures.
The media celebrity and businesswoman expressed delight at the modified measure, and some of her supporters chanted “Bonang for President.”
“She’s always the first Lady…. Honey I am ready for President Bonang Matheba,” a tweep wrote.
