Loyiso “Lloyiso” Gijana first appeared on Idols South Africa as a teenager with a beautiful voice. However, as with individuals who did not win the soon-to-be-cancelled singing competition. Losing seems to have worked in his favor.
Lloyiso Gijana, a former Idols SA finalist, deserves congratulations. The singer revealed that he has gone international.
Lloyiso took to Instagram to convey the exciting news that he has been signed to Republic Records.
Lloyiso has just signed with Republic Records, joining Nicki Minaj, Pop Smoke, Ariana Grande, and many other international superstars…
Lloyiso told TshisaLive that when he found out that Republic Records wanted to sign him, he kept it under wraps until it was official.
“…Because I didn’t want to get too excited and honestly, it was just so surreal. After I knew that things were being finalized, I told my closest friends and family members.”He also told the publication that he aims to use this opportunity to change people’s lives.
“With this international platform, I am going to make more people cry, haha, but on a serious note, I will be able to share my music on a global stage and change people’s lives through my vulnerability in music.”
Now it seems that more than just achieving that with his own fanbase. It seems that Lloyiso’s music is also getting recognition from major US hitmakers and stars.
International R&B superstar Chris Brown took to his Instagram stories to share Lloyiso’s latest single Run’s lyric video which he had shared via his Instagram.
