Kelly Khumalo, award-winning singer and reality TV star, can’t wait to debut her upcoming album at Emperors Palace’s Theatre of Marcellus next month.
On Saturday, February 18, Khumalo will perform her album From A God To A King.
“I’m super excited; words can’t even describe how I feel. My dream of staging my own concerts is slowly coming true, and what better way to do this by showcasing an album that is a soundtrack of my life.”
It is her 10th album, and she adds that she is excited to celebrate the milestone with her supporters, friends and family. The album’s lead singles are Bazokhuluma, released in November, and Akathintwa.
“Being on stage and interacting with my fans is the reason why I do what I do, not to mention that fulfilling and heart-warming feeling it comes with,” Khumalo says.
She adds that “contentment and acceptance of ugliness and beauty that has birthed an image of God personified as a King” is what fans can look forward to.
