Kamo Mphela is known as the Queen of Amapiano Dance. A title earned by the vocalist and dancer as one of the first female Amapiano vocalists to achieve mainstream success during the lockdown. She is now a certified star, rubbing shoulders with the entertainment industry’s who’s who.
Taking to social media earlier this week, the Amanikiniki hitmaker celebrated her 23rd birthday with a video montage of all her performances and memories from the past year as she has continued to lead the Amapiano music scene.
However, when she took to Twitter to share her latest photo dump. It seems tweeps were more interested about the location and owner of the house, more than they were about the actual subject of the images.
Kamo Mphela faces Cassper romance rumours again..
One of the ongoing speculations that seem to continue following Kamo Mphela is the romantic affiliations that she has had in the entertainment industry. One in particular she seems not to be able to shake off is the suggestion that she is romantically involved with rapper and businessman Cassper Nyovest.
The allegations started around the time when it was suggested that Cassper was not the biological father to his only child as it was suggested that his rumoured partner had an affair with Andile Mpisane. In turn, it was suggested that Mphela was Nyovest’s side chick.
Couple the allegations with just how much Mphela promotes and has been a continued returning supporting act at most of Mufasa’s concerts and events. When Mphela posted her latest photo dump on Twitter, tweeps seemed to believe that the house where she shot her images was Cassper’s, further fueling the suggestions of their romance.

Other comments were purely just trolling the musician. This is as Mphela is still in her “less is more” pocket. A fact which led to many insinuating that she was quarter to creating a OnlyFans account.

While Kamo Mphela might have three years under her belt as a household name and beloved musician, she has had a number of other ZAlebs that she has been speculated to have been with.
The first was her previous collaborator and former friend, Focalistic. But both have rubbished the rumours and in light of the revelation of Focalistic dating DBN Gogo. It made the allegations all the more ridiculous.
But one that seems to have some kind of truth, is the rumoured relationship that Mphela had with one half of the Major League DJz, Banele Mbere. Mbere is believed to have been juggling between Mphela and fellow media personality Bonang Matheba. This is during the time when Matheba was travelling between South Ah and the US to make a name for herself there.
As a result, this led to the bad blood between Matheba and Mphela as Kamo seemed to have shaded Queen *B during her Podcast and Chill interview when talking about meeting media personalities that she previously used to look up to. But again, this is all alleged…
