Those interested in following the memorial service for slain South African musician Kiernan “AKA” Forbes on Friday, 17 February can do so by clicking on a YouTube link (below).

On Tuesday, online tickets for the memorial service sold out in a matter of hours.

A limited number of tickets were made available on WebTickets following confirmation from his family that a memorial service will be held on Friday at 15:00 at the Sandton Convention Centre.

However, three hours later, the ‘sold out’ signs appeared, indicating the public’s overwhelming desire to attend.

The 35-year-old rapper will be laid to rest on Saturday, 18 February in a private ceremony.

Taking to Twitter, AKA’s family released a statement sharing details of the funeral and memorial service which, unlike the funeral, will be open to the public.
