Mampintsha’s mother, Zamanguni Gumede, will be laid to rest this weekend.
The Daily Sun published information about the 64-year-memorial old’s and funeral service.
Zama died on January 16th, after suffering a small stroke at Wentworth hospital.
On Friday, January 20, a memorial ceremony was conducted at KwaMashu L Hall in Durban, Kwazulu-Natal. The funeral will be held on Saturday, January 21.
“The funeral and memorial service will take place here at KawaMashu because she lived here. She was a people’s person, so we are expecting a lot of people,” she said a family spokesperson Balungile Gumede.
She added, “We decided to hold the memorial service in the afternoon because we wanted to accommodate everyone. We also understand that some may not be able to attend the actual funeral due to work commitments. So this is a chance for everyone to come and bid farewell.”
