Another celebrity cheating scandal rocked South Africans late last year. Sonia Booth, the now-divorced wife of famed soccer player Matthew Booth, made shocking allegations about her husband and his extramarital affairs on her Instagram page.
According to one of the allegations, Matthew gave “his mistress” one of his famous homemade cheesecakes. This enraged social media users, and many jokes about cheating and cheesecakes ensued.
Sonia appears to be able to laugh about the situation and has even gone so far as to launch a business centered on the scandal.
Sonia Booth has found a way to turn lemons into lemonade. The estranged wife of Matthew Booth just announced that she is now selling ice cream – but not just any ice cream – marula cheesecake flavoured ice cream.
Taking to her Twitter page earlier today, Sonia announced her latest business venture while joking that she obviously doesn’t have a Valentine.
“Needless to say, I don’t have a Valentines. Show me some love by purchasing the Marula Cheesecake Passion Ice Cream (R50). Add R40 for delivery (blame the Minister of Fuel). Only 50 tubs made for tomorrow because loadshedding e re tshwere ka di washene,” she wrote.
