DJ Zinhle gave fans and viewers of her reality show the unexpected a very heartwarming way to end the season. In the last episode, she and Murdah Bongz’s daughter, Asante Mohosana, celebrated her first birthday with help from her other child, Kairo Forbes.
In The Unexpected, Zinhle’s fans got an inside look at her personal life and how she runs her businesses.
At first, Zinhle was unhappy that Era By DJ Zinhle wasn’t doing as well as her other projects. But now that it worked, she has peace of mind.
She said on Twitter that self-awareness was one of the most important things she had to deal with this season.
“Self awareness is tough but itโs a powerful tool for growth. This was a really hard one for me. I won’t lie. Super emotional,” said the Siyabonga hitmaker. “Opening up through a reality show has been tough but Iโm glad I did it, for you, for me! The season is almost overโฆ thank you for riding with me. Super emotional day I guess. Wow, I am HIGHLY emotional.”

She told Daily Sun of her season 2 highlights. These were her daughter’s birthdays, and her brother Zenzele’s, engagement. But the biggest highlight was her engagement.
“I got to learn a lot of lessons about myself, and I also learnt to be open to other people’s ideas. I’m still on a learning path of not being stubborn when it comes to a lot of situations as you have seen during this season.”
“Well mine was actually the biggest highlight for my viewer and fans, to be honest. Viewers got to see the actual work that gets done. The Hair Majesty store was also a highlight.”
