Que and Goldman, better known as the Distruction Boyz, announce their breakup months after reuniting.
The Gqom duo split up in 2020 to pursue solo careers, but reunited in 2022.
However, their reunion was short-lived, as the two announced on social media last week that Distruction Boyz would be taking a break to focus on their solo careers.
“Members of the Gqom community, thank you for supporting us over the years! Allow us to take a break from being the Distruction Boyz. Up duo you all love so that we can concentrate on our solo careers for a bit,” they wrote.
The confirmed the hiatus with their last performance as a duo at the Cotton Fest JHB 2023.
However, they promise to return soon.
