Following Murdah Bongz’s departure from the award-winning band Black Motion, its newest member Kabelo “Problem Child” Koma was reportedly interviewed in Cape Town on Saturday, 1 April, at the Corona Sunsets Festival, where he was said to have voiced the difference he brought to the group, TshisaLIVE reported.
According to reports, the new kid on the block offered so much to the group that he struggled to put it into words.
“If you look closer, you’ll see that every time we show up, it’s something new and special. Black Motion now is no ordinary DJ and no ordinary drummer. It’s two special people and special forces mingled together,” Problem Child was quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, earlier this year, the former band member left the Black Motion band at odds with his former partner. He found himself even involved in some court drama on his exit.
In January, Murdah Bongz made headlines when he was ordered by the Johannesburg High Court to restore the bands studio recording equipment that he reportedly stole and trashed, The South African previously reported.
Murdah Bongz has since launched his solo career. According to Briefly, after partying ways with his former band member Thabo “Smol” Mabongwa in 2022, Murdah Bongz has gone to great lengths even to change his name to Mörda.
According to Zalebs, Problem Child has received a lot of love and support for his replacement for the former drummer.
With their hypnotic beats, the newest Black Motion Afro-House duos have been shaking up stadiums.
