A Durban kwaito group is reuniting 20 years later to pay tribute to their third member, who is no longer with us. This summer, DJ, Mampintsha, and Danger will dedicate their latest body of work to R. Mashesha.
Despite their beefs and differences, Big Nuz was said to be mending their relationships by returning to the studio to make more music two years ago. However, everything comes full circle in 2022 when the group releases their latest album, which is dedicated to R. Mashesha.
DJ Tira, Mampintsha, and Danger have been hard at work on the album, and they are now ready to share it with their fans and supporters all over the continent. Tweeps are overjoyed and already jamming their way to the summer to a track titled ‘Ngeke’ featuring DJ Yamza.
“Big Nuz dropped a three-in-one song, fit for wedding, church, or groove. Today they blessed us with a 15 tracks project titled, “R Mashesha” Life makes sense again RIP Dollar R Ad-libs” wrote This Is Colbert

Even though some of Big Nuz fans are appreciative of this body of work, however they are still echoing that R. Mashesha was needed in the songs. Unfortunately, R. Mashesha real name Sibusiso Khomo passed away after battling a long illness in the year 2015, at the age of 34 years.
“That Big Nuz – Ngeke Track… Really needed that R. Mashesha verse. Imagine : “Another Weekend, another wedding, yeah, we made it”…” wrote Ramington Siwela
