Bas, an American rapper, declares South Africa the best country in 2022.
The international star, whose real name is Abbas Hamad, claims to have traveled to several countries on a different continent and concluded in December that Mzansi stood out.
Bas did not elaborate on his claim, which he tweeted, but he did say that Mzansi had the greatest impact this year compared to other countries.
“I been outside in more languages than you could comprehend. 5 continents of mobbing all year. Trust when I say South Africa won 2022. The impact is everywhere,” he wrote.
Abbas is known to have linked up with several South African artists like Cassper Nyovest.
His tweet garnered mzansi attention as many named him Bandile; others tagged him Bastraata for being a traveler.
