Bongekile “Babes Wodumo” Simelane is overjoyed after finally unlocking her late husband Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo’s cellphone.
The singer is exhaling a huge sigh of relief after telling mourners at the late musician’s funeral service on December 30, 2022, that she couldn’t access his cell phone because Mampintsha died without telling her his phone’s pin number.
“What has left confused me is that he has departed on earth without giving me his cellphone pin, ay because man,” said Babes. Babes told mourners that “all men cheat” and it seemed as though sis was unbothered by Mampintsha’s side chicks who surfaced on social media after his death.
“Now I will be just looking at as people call because I can not open it, but a man is a man, there’s no man that does not cheat, there isn’t,” she said.
On the heels of this, Babes has finally unlocked the cell phone and she is thrilled. In a video making the rounds on social media, the Wololo hitmaker is seen sitting at home and going through Mampintsha’s iPhone.
In the clip, Babes Wodumo could be seen cracking up and excited to go through his conversations.“I have finally found my baby’s pin code. Thank you baby,”she said.
She added, “Shame, my husband loved me until the very end. I am still busy looking over your conversations. Don’t worry, I won’t be mad at anyone.”

In one of the episodes from the couple’s Showmax reality show, Uthando Lodumo. Babes Wodumo accused Mampintsha of sleeping with some female dancers as well as hitting on other female celebrities that she knows from the industry.
“I am even suspecting he has spending that money with his new girlfriend or something. Thirdly, he is relentlessly wooing other women, he is even hitting on celebrities that I know. All that he is doing is really embarrassing me to people. Another thing, I had male and female dancers, he was hitting on all the female dancers, some of which he slept with. Even after when I found new dancers, he started hitting on them again. Him dating with my friends, was the final straw for me” said Babes Wodumo.
