The body of Kiernan Forbes “AKA” has arrived in Johannesburg.
On February 11th, the late rapper’s family traveled to Durban, where he was shot and killed, to confirm the identity of the body.
Forbes’ legal representative, Rudolf Baloyi, confirmed the body’s arrival in Johannesburg.
“Yesterday, as you would have seen, we spent the day in Durban, where we went to identify him with the brother and the father. We spent time with the detectives and came back with him and he is now in Johannesburg,” the report quoted Baloyi as saying.

On Saturday morning, the parents of the late rapper, Tony, and Lynn Forbes confirmed the death of their son in a statement.
“It is with extreme sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our beloved son, and confirm his untimely and tragic passing on the evening of February 10, 2023.”
“Our son was loved and he gave love in return. In this time of grief, we appeal for your compassion, space and time to congregate as family to decide on the upcoming days. We thank you for the love and support we have received thus far, and ask you to continue to keep us in your prayers and uplifted in the Lord.”
