The death of amapiano artist and dancer Costa titch has left local music fans heartbroken. Costa titch, real name Constantinos Tsonanoglou, died after collapsing on stage during a performance at the Nasrec stadium during the Ultra Music Festival. His death comes just days after local rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes was shot and killed outside Wish on Florida Road, a popular Durban eatery.
South Africans are struggling to make sense of the deaths of the artists who were close friends — especially after watching a clip of AKA telling the talented youngster to “come with him”.
HEARTS BREAK FOR COSTA TITCH AND AKA
On Saturday 11 February this week, 27-year-old musician and dancer Costa Titch lost his life.
Videos of the star collapsing during a performance on stage at the Ultra Musical Festival have gone viral on social media.
While his family has released a statement confirming his passing, they have not revealed what the cause behind it is. According to reports, the artist has had a long struggle with epileptic seizures.
His death comes shortly after AKA, 35, was assassinated in Durban. The musicians had worked on a number of collaborations before their untimely passing.
In one video which has gone viral on social media, AKA can be heard telling Costa to “come with him”.
