“The story of the first black South African rugby captain who against all odds led the South African national team to win the 2019 World Cup Rugby and in turn unites the country,” reads the synopsis of the documentary according to IMDB.
The Tribecca Film Festival, which takes place in Manhattan, New York City began on Wednesday 7 June and runs until Sunday 18 June. On Sunday 11 June, Rachel travelled from Durban to Cape Town and then from Cape Town to New York. However, she was possibly a little too chilled about getting to the airport in time.
Earlier in the day, three hours before the flight she revealed that she was still in bed and had not yet sorted out her kids’ schedules.
“Leave for New York in three hours. Still in bed. Haven’t packed (going to attempt only taking a carry on no check in) because connection coming home is tight. Haven’t sorted kids schedules. Basically everything that needs doing is not done,” she wrote. She then revealed that she planned on only leaving 20 minutes before boarding but forgot she had a bag to check in.
“Not me relaxing at home planning to leave 20 minutes before boarding (I was checked in) did I realise I have a bag to check in too (had too much stuff). I just made it, but seriously I need to stop this last minute travel behaviour,” she continued.
