Sthembiso “SK” Khoza, an actor and musician, has spoken out about the alleged altercation and assault that left him in hospital in England.
In an interview with the Daily Sun, the former The Queen actress revealed that his fiancée, Choice Kate Mathebula, physically beat him because she was in a relationship with another woman.
“She asked me to call a female and cut all ties with her, which I did. She then said she didn’t believe me and literally asked me to leave her house. I went upstairs to pack my bag and asked that she forward my flight. She refused and said I had to buy another ticket and leave,” said SK.
The actor says he told his fiancée that he will only be able buy a ticket when he gets paid on the 31st, but she reportedly didn’t want to hear it.
“She wanted to kick me out into the cold, and I said ‘no I will not go die outside at night in a foreign country all by myself’. She proceeded to say she’ll call the police and I said that’s fine because when they get here, they can escort me to a hotel.
“But because she didn’t want me to wait in the house, she proceeded to hit me with three wooden spoons which broke,”
Choice allegedly then took a tin opener and hit me with the sharp part of it until it broke as well. This was when, according to SK, she took a knife and attacked him with it.
During his now-deleted Instagram Live on Tuesday, SK – who was lying in a hospital bed – showed cuts on his arms, ears, a swollen upper lip and bruised neck.
He continued: “All I know is that I almost lost my ear tonight; I almost lost my finger tonight. I have two broken knees right now. From spatula to tin opener to a knife, now I’m lying in a hospital in England.”
The former Black Door actor has previously been accused by his ex-fiancée Ayanda Hlongwane of physical assault. However, he denied the claims again in the 16-minutes-long video, saying he has never laid a hand on a woman before.
“I’ve never touched a woman in my life and, if that was the case, I’m pretty sure that when I was going to court for my ex-fiancée, there would have been a lot of other women who would have come forward and said, ‘Yeah, he’s hit me before.’ I’ve never hit a woman in my life; I never will,” SK said.
