Fans slammed a man who threw money on Eswatini-born DJ Uncle Waffles—real name Lungelihle Zwane—on stage during one of her shows on Sunday, 28 May, on Instagram.
Uncle Waffles’ career has exploded in recent years. She has performed in South Africa and abroad. She announced her Coachella performance in Palm Springs, California, on social media earlier this year.
She now hangs out with Naomi Campbell and Ciara. Beyoncé Knowles Carter, Kelly Rowland, and other Hollywood stars have praised her music and performances.
The Yahyuppiyah singer also teamed with KFC to create the Uncle Waffles Burger, according to Kaya FM. The second collaboration was reported.
In a recent Instagram video, a man who appeared to be a fan of the DJ sprayed her with money on stage. Online fans found the video odd. They criticized the father, saying he should have used his money to assist himself and that Uncle Waffles could make her own money.
