Bonang Matheba may have just celebrated a significant victory by getting back control of her popular and Woolies-bestselling MMC sparkling wine alcoholic beverage House of BNG. As already stated:
β¦ After a two-year legal struggle with her old management company, Matheba appears to have won. This came as she took to social media to discuss the House of BNG’s winter campaign.
Moreover, she made it clear in a very Bonang way that her battle with CSA over her MCC sparkling wine brand is officially over.
β¦.a heist gone wrong!! Lol!! The End. π₯

I reached out to Bonang Matheba and Celebrity Services Africa (CSA) about their #HouseOfBNG legal dispute.
The matter has come to an end and here's what both parties had to say https://t.co/pYa5h99SDo

Now it seems that Queen B* has time on her hands to focus on the entire spectrum of the socio-political landscape in South Africa. This is instead of her keen eye on the goings-on of the Department of Sports, Arts, and Culture, as she has been doing for years now.
As such, it seems that Matheba had something to say when it was confirmed that ex-convict, turned reformed blesser and now-politician Kenny Kunene is the Acting Mayor of the City of Johannesburg.
Bonang pokes fun at newly appointed Joburg Mayor Kenny Kunene
On Sunday, 14 May 2023, the ongoing musical chairs of who can assume the role of the Mayor of the City of Johannesburg continued to roll over to its latest βbestβ candidate Kenny Kunene. As reported by iOL:
Patriotic Alliance deputy president Kenny Kunene will take the reins β albeit for a short while β in the City of Joburg after he was appointed as acting mayor while newly-appointed mayor Kabelo Gwamanda is away on business.
Kunene, a member of the mayoral committee (MMC) for Roads and Transport, is in the driverβs seat for only two days as Gwamanda is in Cape Town on government business.

In light of the news, Bonang was part of the commentators on the news. As such, Matheba wished that Kenny can tap back into his blesser days like when he was eating sushi over half-naked women and was a club owner.
I hope they re open ZAR. I bought a new dress π«£π€£πππ€·π½ββοΈ https://t.co/xLiMPlaAgs

Kunene started his high-rolling club in 2010 and decided to close it two years later in 2012. The Sowetan reported on the incident at the time, stating:
On Saturday night, co-owner Kenny Kunene announced the closing of the renowned Sandton nightspot with a bittersweet farewell party at the packed ZAR Lounge.
The owners of the Radisson Hotel, where the club had been renting for the past three years, wanted to use the space for their own business, according to the stated explanation for the club’s closure.
