It’s no news that Amanda du-Pont and ex-husband Shawn Rodrigues’ marriage ended unexpectedly. To be honest, their marriage came as a surprise because neither of them published any photographs or videos from their wedding day. Amanda proclaimed her engagement but never mentioned marriage until her grandmother died.

Amanda and Shawn’s three-year marriage dissolved on January 20, according to TshisaLive.

Musa Khawula, a gossip writer, has now shared Instagram screenshots of a woman claiming to have gone on a date with Shawn. Charelle Johnson shared a photo of herself and a man holding hands while on a dinner date.

Amanda responded to Musa Khawula’s report accusing her of dating a new man in Cape Town.

“The original video. An afternoon riding bikes and scooters with my friends. The image you posted seems to be a malicious cropped version to insinuate rumours. For clarity, the man in the image is my bodyguard. A polite plea to leave my name out of your gossip,” she clapped back.

The last time Shawn spoke of anything related to Amanda was when she posted a video accusing former boyfriend Jub Jub of rape.

“F**k you, pig. I can’t wait until you f***ng burn in hell,” he said in his IG stories and tagged Jub Jub.

Shawn’s message comes after Amanda said this about Jub Jub, “No, you didn’t smash me, you raped me, you forcibly opened my legs, forced me myself for two years and made me believe that there was no way out. . The most painful part of all of this was that I was a virgin and I told him at the time. I told Jub Jub at the time that I was a virgin and I planned to be a virgin until the time I got married,” said a tearful Amanda.

“So it is not true. I didn’t leave because I saw a picture. I left because he tried to kill me and I have always been afraid to leave because of the treats that were made but at that moment where he tried to kill me I knew the very thing I was afraid of, which was dying… I knew was meant to happen that day and I actually got away,” she continued.

“When I got away I went to the police station to try and open a case of abuse and rape and attempted murder. The police officer said to me to go home and think about my decision because he is so sick and tired of women coming to him with their boyfriends and husbands only having to take them back,” she added. “I had an abortion of course because there was absolutely no way I would have a child that was forcefully given to me,” she said.
