Khanyi Mbau, a South African actor and singer, recently trended after her old song, Igwinya, which was released in 2010, resurfaced and had her fans and followers in stitches; however, on Tuesday, 21 March, she took to TikTok and gave her online followers a new song to talk about.

Mbau has proven herself to be a jack of all trades over the years. She has had several acting roles and has released a few songs in her time.

Mbau is rarely seen since moving to Dubai with her Zimbabwean boyfriend, Kudzai Mushonga, unless she posts pictures and videos on social media.

It’s no wonder her TikTok fans rushed to the comment section when she posted a video of herself doing a duet with another TikTokker and singing A Whole New World from the Disney movie Aladdin.

She sounded absolutely angelic, and before she posted the clip, Mbau captioned,

“Minced the words a little; well, here goes me tryna sound like a Disney princess.”

In 2010 she tried her luck in the music industry with the song titled Work On It which was said to have been a failure, The Citizen reported.

Mbau was quoted as saying,

“I was 20, and it fell flat on its face. I was too caught up in my ex and other things in my life. You have to work on your music and I didn’t give music enough of my time, so it flopped.”
