Cassper Nyovest, a South African rapper, appears to be deeply troubled by the country’s recent state. The Doc Shebeleza hitmaker took to Twitter, where he expressed how bad things are and how the country could use a prayer. Cassper’s thoughts come as the country goes through its worst spell of power cuts, unemployment, crime, and a number of other dire social issues.
Many people agreed with the rapper, while others stated that the country requires something far more powerful than prayers.
Over the last few days, local hitmaker Cassper Nyovest has made a number of tweets regarding the current state of South Africa.
First, the star took to his Twitter page to complain about being worried that he won’t be able to pay all his bills every month.
And now he headed online to share that he thinks a dark cloud is lingering over SA.
According to him, the country needs a prayer session.
“Things aren’t good in South Africa right now. There’s a dark cloud that I personally think we need to pray over. God bless our beloved country. Monate o fedile”

“We need practical solutions, a prayer will only give us hope and lift our spirits but it won’t solve load shedding, crime, and high food prices.”

“Mahguy, this feeling of dread hanging over SA, it’s all of us having it? It’s like when you get a bad feeling in your stomach, a gut feeling that something bad is going to happen, but it’s everyone feeling it, every day, all the time.
We are a very very anxious nation. :broken_heart:”
