Following the rapper’s death, social media users labeled the Durban businessman as a suspect.

It was assumed that the Tembe family sought vengeance for the death of their daughter, who allegedly committed suicide in April 2021 by jumping off a hotel balcony.

According to the Daily Sun, Moses would like to pay a visit to the late rapper’s parents, Tony and Lynn Forbes.

He also stated that the rapper’s death will have an impact on his late daughter’s court case.

“We’ve never judged Kiernan. We demonstrated our love for him to his very last day. We are saddened by this sad eventuality as it robs of us an opportunity we have been waiting for so patiently to vindicate our daughter in court or in an inquest.”

“I would like to visit their family and convey my condolence in person. As a parent, I feel deep pain for Kiernan’s parents (Tony and Lynn Forbes,) his daughter Kairo and the family at large,” he added.

Moses Tembe doesn’t believe his daughter took her life, as he plainly stated it during her funeral.

“As Anele’s father, I hereby state categorically that Anele was neither suicidal nor did she commit suicide. Ladies and gentlemen, we need to understand the forces that put us in a situation that we find ourselves.”

The death of the rapper whose real name is Kiernan Forbes reminded people of Anele’s death; it sparked rumors of revenge from the family of the lady.

Anele’s father, Moses Tembe released an official statement to mourn their late daughter’s lover.

“The Tembe Family would like to extend deepest condolences to the Forbes family on the passing of their beloved son Kiernan. It is with shock that we have learnt of Kiernan’s passing. As a parent, I feel deep pain for Kiernan’s parents, Tony and Lynn, his daughter Kairo and the family at large.”

“Kiernan was an extraordinary and talented musician. His music contributed meaningfully to Soth Africa’s and indeed Africa’s rich music tapestry,” part of the statement read.
