Thulo, from Potchefstroom, dropped out of Monash University in Johannesburg after studying psychology and criminology. Her first TV commercial was a Wimpy ad after signing with a casting agency.

The 32-year-old began her TV career as Crib Notes host on YOTV in 2011. She also hosted SkyRoom Live, Ridiculousness Africa, Club 808, Zoned, Change Down, and Big Brother Africa.

Rockville cast Thulo as its star. She played Mpho Bogatsu for four seasons.

Thulo debuted in Dear Betty, a 2014 comedy short film. In Mrs. Right Guy, she played Marie.

Thulo debuted as an opening act for Migos in 2017. On October 21, 2017, the actor performed with Nasty C at the TicketPro Dome.

“Music is an incredible, powerful medium. I think it probably was one of the main things that grew my following. The kind of support you garner through music is so different to the way you do in acting and television. Music is the powerful medium that I enjoy the most.”
