The family of Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo has released information about his memorial and funeral service.
The music producer died on Saturday morning, December 24th, after suffering a second stroke in a Durban hospital.
Mandla’s memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 29, and his funeral will be held on Friday, December 30, both in Durban.
Mbongeni Simelane, Babes Wodumo’s father, confirmed the aforementioned dates and thanked South Africans for their support.
“Thank you for the support. Continue supporting us as we are preparing to lay him to rest. The funeral will be on Friday. The venue is yet to be confirmed. The memorial service will be held on Thursday at Bishop Dube’s church eThekwini Community Church. All people are welcome to come and pay their last respects,” he said.
According to the family’s Spokesperson Zandile Maphumlo, Babes Wodumo who is the wife of the late star is doing well.
“We are a family Christ-grounded and we pray for everything and Babes is well. And Mampintsha, we are a family that supports one another. Simelane family and Maphumulo family is one family. So, they are doing well even though she is well because of our support as a family. Remember, anyone if you have lost a loved one the first day was not easy.”
