With their joint EP “Speak N Vrostaan,” Kwesta and Kabza De Small bring the festive season to Chokehold. While some may have assumed that there would be no more music projects released before the end of the year, Kwesta and amapiano sensation Kabza De Small had other plans. The two have come through to keep the boos going ahead of the holiday season.
The artists reminded Mzansi on Friday, December 2 on social media that the 10-track EP had become available on digital music outlets. Kwesta shared the album’s link on Twitter, while Kabza De Small, who performs as Papta Mancane on the album, promoted it on Instagram.

The collaboration is titled Speak N Vorstaan with Kwesta writing fiery lyrics, and Kabza producing the album’s rhythms. They also included other well-known performers, like DJ Tira, Young Stunna, Professor, Sizwe Alakine, and Toss.
The artists’ project had Mzansi geared up for the festive season as Speak N Vorstaan attracted positive reviews on the social media timeline. The combination of rap and amapiano sound is gradually taking a peak in the SA music industry. K.O. is one of the artists who has utilised both sounds and came out with a smash hit in SETE. It’s meant to be seen if Kwesta and Kabza will go all the way and top the charts.
With the release of the joint EP with Kwesta, Kabza De Small has enjoyed a remarkable year with most of his sound being the most played in South Africa. The Yanos artist was announced as the most streamed artist in Mzansi in all.
The “Woza” musician is not only the most streamed South African artist, but one of just two South African musicians to appear in the top 10 most streamed artists overall in South Africa, coming in behind Drake and in front of The Weekend, who take the third place.
